Sports: Real Madrid Wins The UEFA Champions League

Real Madrid has become the winner of 2014 UEFA Champions League having beaten Atletico Madrid with the score 4-1.

Interestingly, the champions’ title was almost in the pocket of Atletico players, as on the 36′ minute of the game Diego Godin with his header put the team ahead.

The score didn’t change until the end of the game, when Sergio Ramos opened Real’s victorious series of goals in the extra time following his double in the semi-finals.

Thus, the game became more stressful for both teams, with the added time. With ten minuted remaining Bale scored the goal which gave Real Madrid the title.
Still it was not over: inspired by the brilliant performance of the team, Marcelo scored before Ronaldo, who also claimed the record for the most strikes in a Champions League season (17th goal of the campaign).
